Instructions

First a thank you to Owen Halpenny, of the Mountain Ale and Lager Tasters of Asheville, NC.  Owen developed this software which has been invaluable to our club and to many others.  Few people will take the time to work as hard as he has and then "give away" his product. We use it with his kind permission.  If you find a bug, please tell us, it's our fault.

Registration will be accepted until 11/23/13 at 5 pm.

First enter the data up to Brew Entry Information.  If you have 8 or fewer brews to enter you are ready to proceed with Brew Entry Information.  If you have more than 8 brews to enter you’ll have to open a second browser window.  From the Internet Explorer menu click File, New and Window.  The second window will have all but the Brew Entry Information completed.  If you have more than 16 entries, a third browser window will be needed and so forth for each additional group of up to 8 more entries.  For each open window complete the Brew Entry Information section and then click “Submit.”  Follow the instructions on the web page you will be taken to which concludes with closing that browser window.  Process all open browser windows in a like manner.  OR, if this does not work just enter all information, eight (8) beers to the page without the "window opening" exercise.

After clicking "Submit" please use your web browser to print the web page.  The first two paper pages from each browser window are summaries of your entries.  The  subsequent paper pages are filled-in bottle labels to be attached to your entries.  The instructions on that web page provide details.

It is especially important to include a valid e-mail address that is regularly checked in your registration.  All communication concerning the competition and entries will be solely by e-mail.  We have found that virtually all entries with  non-functioning e-mail address are "fake" entries and will be assigned numbers at the end of the entry list.

Use the Tab key to move to the next field.  The Enter key has the same effect as clicking "Submit",which should not done until the entire form is ready.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. If you have not received it within 72 hours (that's 3 days) email the Registrar
